Western Union

The Western Union Company is an American multinational financial services company, headquartered in Denver, Colorado.

Slate provided 1570 workstations and 134 private offices for two locations: a new Global Headquarters and a Regional Operations Center. Installation was phased by floor over a 5-month period. The product installed utilized Steelcase Answer panels, adjustable height Migration tables, Universal components, Steelcase Gesture, and Amia chairs, among others.

It took three years, with multiple mockups, to develop the typical that would be used and a final mockup to validate the direction. Installation went very smoothly due to the work of the major projects team at Steelcase and Slate’ coordination by an Executive Project Manager and Furniture Installation Manager. Direct shipments from Steelcase were carefully planned and arrived on time.

Additionally, Floorz and Constructive, Elements studios, collaborated throughout the project to provide comprehensive flooring and wall solutions.
