Visit Denver

When Visit Denver set out to transform its Downtown Denver headquarters into a 40,000-square-foot marketing hub, they needed a partner that could deliver both functional precision and a space that authentically reflects the city’s identity. Elements brought two of its studios together, Slate and 3d-identity, each contributing a distinct scope to complete a cohesive, high-impact environment.

Slate: furniture + workspace design

Slate delivered tailored furniture solutions designed to support productivity and a cohesive aesthetic throughout Visit Denver’s private offices.

  • Configured for collaboration: Studio B desk configurations and wall-mounted TV displays balance individual focus with team functionality.
  • Rooted in Denver’s identity: Locally inspired art and décor were integrated throughout to create a workspace that feels authentic to the client’s brand and the city they represent.
  • Built for a fast timeline: Orders were strategically phased to keep critical areas operational from day one — delivering the full project on time, on budget, and on brand.

3d-identity: environmental graphics + interior signage

3d-identity created a legacy-driven art installation and a comprehensive interior signage program that give Visit Denver’s space a distinct sense of place and history.

  • A living archive: Archival photography was reimagined as a series of curated magazine covers, honoring the board leadership that has shaped Denver’s tourism landscape from 1985 to the present. The installation is positioned at the entrance to the primary conference room as a compelling storytelling moment for every visitor.
  • Designed to grow: The modular system is built to accommodate seven additional years of future leaders before archiving — ensuring the display evolves alongside the organization.
  • Wayfinding with character: A full ADA-compliant interior signage program ties the space together. Each sign features a sleek black finish, a subtle mountain motif, and a signature clipped corner — grounding the environment in Colorado’s iconic geography while maintaining a consistent, high-end design language throughout.

The result

Together, Slate and 3d-identity created a workspace that honors Visit Denver’s legacy while energizing its future — a dynamic, functional environment that reflects the creativity and ambition of one of Denver’s most recognized organizations.
