A fun, vibrant design was chosen for Children’s Hospital Colorado’s interior to appeal to their young patients while also maintaining clean details and integrating durable, resilient finishes. Constructive used preconstructed products to achieve the necessary flexibility to meet the hospital’s current needs while also providing them with years of adaptability. The team created a custom design that matched the client and architect’s vision – faster, cost-effective, and with less waste than conventional construction. Using flexible, prefabricated construction allowed the hospital to hang/support a variety of furniture, casework, and medical accessories from the walls without damage while also maintaining medical code compliance.

Slate coordinated with the furniture and facilities team to offer robust furniture solutions that match the uplifting aesthetic of the space. These solutions were selected not only for their demonstrated durability in high-use spaces but also for their practicality, guaranteeing that healthcare providers can concentrate on their work in a high-functioning environment.
