Marke was hired to redesign the shared amenity club room at a multifamily property in Boston, reimagining the space as an upscale library and bar-inspired retreat for residents. The goal was to elevate the overall resident experience by transforming a standard communal area into a refined, hospitality-driven destination within the building.

Inspired by the ambiance of a private members’ library and cocktail lounge, the redesigned club room features layered textures, rich finishes, and tailored detailing. Custom millwork anchors the bar area, creating a focal point that blends warmth and sophistication. Custom drapery softens the space while enhancing acoustics and adding visual depth. Through a comprehensive and holistic design approach, Marke delivered a sophisticated upgrade that set a new tone for the property’s shared environments.

Marke worked closely with the onsite property management team and general contractor to ensure seamless coordination from concept through installation. The collaborative execution resulted in a polished, high-end transformation that exceeded expectations.

The client was extremely pleased with the outcome, leading to continued partnership and additional projects within the building. Following the success of the amenity club room renovation, Marke was engaged to complete additional shared spaces, including the lobby, resident lounges, and café areas — creating a cohesive design narrative throughout the property.
